* Candidate must be a United States Citizen, able to obtain/maintain a US Government security clearance (up to TS/SCI) and also eligible to obtain any necessary Export Authorization. The position may require the ability to travel to various government facilities up to 20% of the time. The Chief System Architect will lead and effect enhancements and changes to the training environment architecture in meetings with government customer architects. The Chief System Architect is responsible for all aspects of the system architecture throughout the program life cycle to include technology tradeoffs, architecture design and development, and allocation of system functions to architectural elements. The Chief System Architect leads the system architecture team, creating, reviewing and approving architectural models and documentation. The Chief System Architect will support the establishment of Agile processes and infrastructure enhancements needed to support updates to the customer utilizing Dev/Ops techniques. The program will manage and support the development of technology insertions, integrating software and hardware enhancements while maintaining a level of capability that will enable customers to continue to conduct training, exercises, mission rehearsals and certification from distributed locations. The Chief System Architect is responsible for all technical aspects of the system architecture, leading technology tradeoffs, understanding customer needs and constraints and integrating diverse stakeholder inputs to guide the design efforts of the system.
